The Heir And The Spare – Maya Rodale

THE HEIR AND THE SPARE is Maya Rodale’s debut novel; she took a well-used plot line and enhanced it making it her own. If this is any indication of what is to come next, I venture she will have a remarkable writing career ahead of her.

The Marsh Hawk – Dawn MacTavish

MacTavish has woven an adventuresome regency set in Cornwall, England that the reader is sure not to forget. Pairing two wonderful protagonists together who fell in love at first sight before getting to know one another helped to show and define the areas where their lack of trust caused such angst.

Midnight’s Bride – Sophia Johnson

MIDNIGHT’S BRIDE like previous novels by Sophia Johnson is full of humour, drama, love and passion. Not to mention the intricate plot and descriptive details, with the well rounded character development making this novel a must read. With so many things happening in this novel that pulls on your emotions, I seriously got a kick out of Netta and her innocence on the matters of the marriage bed.
